Hi, I'm Cydney Mar — founder of Cydney Mar Wellness.

I’ve always believed in living vibrantly — and I created this line of Canadian-made vitamins to help you do just that.

My path has taken me from elite figure skater to international fashion designer, to wellness entrepreneur. After a near-death experience over a decade ago, I rebuilt my health step by step — and in doing so, I developed a deeper understanding of the body, the importance of nutrient support, and the healing power of nature, science, and spirit.

That’s how Cydney Mar Wellness was born — a line of clean, effective, beautifully packaged supplements designed to help you thrive from the inside out. Whether you’re looking to support your hair, skin, energy, or overall well-being, my formulas are crafted to be both gentle and powerful, and easy to integrate into your daily life.

A Note About My Heritage

I am of Nlaka’pamux, Chinese, and Scottish ancestry.
My maternal grandmother, Mabel Angus, was from the Nlaka’pamux Nation—Interior Salish people whose traditional and unceded territories are in what is now British Columbia. The Nlaka’pamux are known as the People of the River and have lived in these lands for thousands of years.

While my family once distanced from our Indigenous roots due to the discrimination of the time, I spent five years researching our lineage, gathering records, and reconnecting with our heritage. Today, I hold full Indian Status and have been formally acknowledged by a federally recognized Aboriginal Entity.

My heart is full from this journey of reconnection — meeting precious Elders, finding long-lost family, and learning more about the land, our culture, and our stories. It has deepened not only my sense of identity but also my commitment to walk gently, create mindfully, and honour those who came before me.

This spirit of reconnection and respect is woven into everything I do — and everything I create.
