It's the Holiday Season and many people are pulling out their Advent calendars for the countdown to Christmas and Holiday Season.
How can we navigate the season with grace? We have SO much to do, lots of shopping, work the family, the parties. How do we go from busy and not go into overwhelm ?
Here are my simple reminders to myself for getting through this fun, festive season ~
I have a crazy question to ask you ~
Could you do one less thing each day, instead of one more ?
Could you take a moment , work out your list of things to do and then remove at least one thing ?
What if doing one less thing each day meant you got up naturally, instead of in a rush to jam more things in ?
What if you went to bed a wee bit earlier ( because you did one less thing ) ?
What if you ate one less bite ?
What if you drank one less drink ?
What if you enjoyed each thing you did, from having a terrific breakfast, enjoying a hot shower, connecting with your family because you weren't rushed ??
What if everything was just perfect as it is ?
What if the Holidays were stress-free and full of delightfully enjoyed interactions, surprises and celebrations because you were stress-free ?
