Happy Healthy & Poop-Poop de Do!!

Ever wonder why starting off the day with a good healthy poop is so good for your health?

Poop issues are a quite big subject, and taking the right Probiotics can make all the difference.

A number of my clients who have been having poop issues and concerns about what’s normal.

So what's normal?

The discomfort of diarrhea ( it's going through your system too fast ) or constipation ( too slow & backed up ) are definitely signs that something is amiss.

Some who are constipated are doing enemas as a way of managing their system ( no bueno as doing more than once in a blue moon can be dangerous to your health and if you are, please see your Dr!

Normal is 1-3 times a day.

And the normal “Transit Time “ for foods to pass through your body is between 12-24 hours.

Faster than 12 hours, we risk not getting enough nutrients from our foods.

Slower than 24 hours, means our poop begins to putrefy, cause inflammation, leaky gut and there can be a build-up of bad bacteria. No bueno.

Let’s all check this week with the Transit Time Test!

Beets are good to test with. Eat them all in one sitting ( not over the course of a few days )
Write down what time you ate them. Then check your poop and see “ when they come out “.

If all systems are working well, it should be between 12- 24 hours.

So let’s check with what our systems are doing in the Poop dept, and I will circle back to talk about what healthy practices we can do to regulate our bodies elimination system.
