It was just a few years ago I was at the UN in NYC attending the World Water Day conference with my good friend Monica Westin of World of Hope International, a wonderful UN sanctioned charity in Ghana. The speakers were brilliantly interesting and I met so many superb people. Monica has been diligent in her work to bring awareness and support to the community center that she has built with a focus on education.

At the break, I went to the ladies room, did my business and washed my hands. I walked out and met her in the reception hallway. The stark contrast of us having readily available water not only for our bathrooms but clean drinking water to those that were being described in the talks was shocking. We all take it for granted that clean water is as easily available as turning on the tap.
As a child, I played in the Capilano River, in BC between my skating sessions. This river is one of three primary sources of drinking water for Vancouver residents. I remember the sparkling water, the river stones, the light. As one of three important rivers in the greater Vancouver area, it also has a historic Salmon Run, and we spent many an afternoon watching the salmon swim upstream to lay their eggs.
Today, where I live the water is still easily available and I know it isn’t so, for so many others around the world. Water is the essence of life and the more I learn about how essential it is to our health, the more I know that I’d like to contribute to helping support efforts to get everyone clean drinking water.
My good friend and client Elizabeth Larsen is a wonderful High-Performance Life Coach in NYC. This year she has signed up to be one of the leaders in the Water Bearers Campaign. Please join me in supporting her help sponsor water filters from Waves for Water that bring fresh, clean, safe water to 100 people for up to 10 years!
I’ve decided to start with one water filter for $50 USD. As Elizabeth says, every dollar makes a difference.
For each of you who purchase within this week, I will donate 10% of the product value to the Water Bearers Campaign as well.
You can donate here http://bit.ly/2l1H2IC
Waves for Water is a 501 (c) 3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of US law.

She is already over halfway there for her goals with March 22nd World Water Day just around the corner, let’s help support her achieve her goal. So many people will benefit, and as I have said so many times, water is the first step in healthy living.
Many blessings & so much gratitude,
Cydney
